Hi and welcome! We hope you enjoy our little teaser trailer. We're the small team behind Summertale. Words can't express how extremely excited we are to finally introduce what we've been working on tirelessly for the better part of a year now!

What Is Summertale?

Summertale is a cozy, side-scrolling, farming RPG set in a medieval fantasy story where the different peoples of the world have found their own ways to survive the fading magic of the land.

The industrious Humans of the world survive through a balance of nature and technology; others, like the Fae, still cling to the ancient ways with their grand tree, one of the last remnants of the fading magic, gifting them prosperity in their forest home, while the hardy Beastfolk found their own ways to thrive in their faraway desert, building an oasis where once was only barren land.

In Summertale, you'll build your own homestead and farm into a thriving business, travel the world and meet many different people from all walks of life and learn of their stories and what makes them tick (maybe even romance some of them), uncover the ancient mysteries of the world and its fading magic, and fight fierce foes to protect the land (and get a bunch of loot).

We strived to make the world of Summertale feel immersive and alive, with critters roaming about, dynamic weather, lots of little sounds and effects to make you feel like you're really there, and awesome music to make each area memorable and give it its own vibe.

You Can Already

• Grow crops and run a successful farming business.

• Care for cute farm animals that produce various things for your farm.

• Build and upgrade your house to your liking, customizing the rooms and layout how you want them to look.

• Place decor and structures wherever you want.

• Go out into the world and fight monsters, or just chill out and fish.

• And of course, talk to the people of your town, learn about them, do things for them, and build friendships and relationships.

What Comes Next

Our Steam page is already in the works, once its out, a free demo will follow soon after so you could all experience the game. After that we plan on working on some major features for future updates, including:

• Proper character customization (and of course a female main character option).

• A more extensive combat system with different weapon types and abilities.

• A monster taming system where you catch creatures from the world that would help you with produce and other tasks in your homestead.

• A multiplayer co-op system so you could play with friends.

• An extensive modding tool (Our own in-house tool we use for editing pretty much anything in the game).

• And many more features that are already being worked on!
